My name is Dave Gibbeson. I live in Barnstaple, North Devon, with my fiancée and our 3 children. As a passionate photographer I enjoy capturing the local area, its scenes, and life. I’m often drawn to the sea, I find it inspirational and relaxing to be near and feel it’s reflected in my photography. I like meeting other photographers and artists. Apart from being fun it’s good to see, and sometimes learn from other perspectives. In the future I hope to find willing models to help me develop my portrait photography. Anyone can take a photo of a person, but for me, I really want to perfect the art of presenting an appealing image that captures the subject’s personality. I aspire to have people pause and enjoy my work.
My photography has been used in many ways including prints, stock images, brochures and the media. My favourite sale to date is A Southwest Summer which was used in a feature in Best magazine. I am currently working on a small project to make some of my work available in print.
