In this photograph the sun was highlighting the houses in Clovelly harbour. If I could afford to live that close to the sea, I would be a very happy man. It must be quite surreal though, living in a small village that sees a vast amount of tourists and along with them, photographers. Yet, the residents take it in their stride. A small price to pay for living in such an amazing place I guess.
Along with lots of other photographers I downloaded the Adobe Photoshop CS5 30 day trial to play with today. I edited today’s photo with it but it wasn’t anything adventurous. I’m looking forward to having a proper play in the coming days.

I like this picture a lot. i’ve just found the coolblogs site and have been browsing. What i like about this picture is that it looks real, not edited into some perfect, smooth plasticky unreality. You can feel the grit here. So i am hoping you don’t get too seduced by photoshops possibilities!
