Seagulls at Ilfracombe photo

Seagulls at Ilfracombe

It used to be the case that if you heard a seagull, you were at the coast. Nowadays they seem to be making their way ever further inland where there is an abundance of waste to eat. To me though it is a sound I still associate with being near the sea. Often seagulls appear to spectate while I take photographs hoping I will have a scrap of food somewhere. This gull was sat overlooking Ilfracombe harbour on the peer railing looking like it was sunning itself while I worked.

This is a Animal, Coastal, Wildlife photo taken in or near
